If you’re here right now, I’m going to make a guess:
You’re exhausted, anxious, and can’t seem to relax.
Pushing yourself through your demanding day of life and work is an everyday occurrence for you. It’s overwhelming, your anxiety is through the roof, and you’re not sleeping well.
You don’t remember the last time you felt calm or relaxed, and even joy is fleeting.
You’ve really tried to manage it all on your own… but the gym, mindfulness, and breathing exercises, just aren’t cutting it on their own.
Imagine finally catching your breath.
What if instead of feeling crushed with anxiety, sadness and overwhelm, you feel at ease and you can finally put the unrealistic expectations down? No tense arguments with your partner. No hiding on the couch for days and days when your anxiety pushes you over into depression. No more habits that help you escape but not cope.
Instead, your self-esteem is strong, you are actually finding enjoyment in your day to day, and the connection with your friends, family, yourself - all of it is in such a better place.
How do you get there? Therapy. This isn’t your traditional talk therapy. I use questionnaires to make sure you are making progress. We will shift your thinking by using specialties like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT/ TEAM-CBT), face anxiety head-on using exposure, and improve sleep quality with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
If you want noticeable changes, these tools can get you there.
My Specialties
-

Anxiety
When was the last time you felt at ease and not stressed that everything around you was going to come crumbling down?
-

Depression
Life is hard, heavy, and hopeless and it’s felt that way for way too long.
-

Insomnia
It’s not normal to feel tired all the time and you don’t have to just “deal with it”.
What healing looks like:
→Waking up feeling energized, motivated, and ready for the day.
→Getting that perfectionism in check and reducing the self-judgement
→Dealing with overwhelm and stress - without the unhealthy habits.
→Enjoying the small things again and feeling positive about the future.
→Finally understand why you have been struggling and stuck - and having effective tools you can continue to use on your own to keep your healing going.
→Being able to live with fear, not controlled by fear.
Meet the Clinician
Hi, I’m Cora.
It’s nice to meet you!
I won’t bore you here with where I went to school, my license, or trainings. You can check those out, if you want, on my about page.
Instead, I’m going to ask you why you are here? What brought you here and what’s calling you to do this work?
Whatever that is - I personally understand the struggle. My own perfectionism is intertwined with both depression and anxiety, and they all feed into each other.
So I’ll be right there with you: with some humor, deep empathy, and some serious tools to help you crack the code, get relief, and finally feel in control.
